The Photoshop edit is we sharpened Shakespeare’s head.
This garden is beautiful and fairly underused in regard to GVSU locations but it is a wonderful and peaceful place to study when the weather is nice.

We edited the sky with the eraser tool.
We often walk by Heaven and Earth and although it is arguably more interesting than the “blue sculpture” right by it, is is by far the lesser known sculpture.

We brightened the color of this image to 58.
This sculpture comes with the urban legend if you walk underneath it you will fail all your classes. So don’t walk under it till you graduate and are safe from it’s curse!!!!

Cook Carillon Clock Tower
We blurred our bodies in the bottom of this image.
People can actually play the piano that is actually in the tower!!!! It is a GVSU staple, you can see it from almost anywhere on campus.

I like this sculpture because of the way the light hitting it makes it almost glow. It is also sort of hidden behind the staircase but still manages to stand out through its beautiful simplicity.
We photo shopped this one by cropping out most of the floor.

I thought the entire financial report was quite interesting, initially I was dreading having to read it. However, It turned out to be informative and eye opening in ways I did not imagine. I did not realize just how many donor funded scholarships there were, 515 is a lot of people to give a scholarship to based purely on individual donors. It also discussed how this year had a record breaking number of donors and gifts from alumni, this makes sense considering the number of alumni rise each year. I am shocked but pleased by how caring the alumni of GVSU are to give back to those of us still attending and I wish I could say thanks to the individual donors for those scholarships because their sacrifice has allowed 515 students to attend GVSU, who knows maybe I have crossed paths with one of them. I hope one day I can contribute something to the GVSU community whether it be small or big.
